The real reasons for King Charles’ hesitations over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s titles have just come to light.

An inside source addressed the entire situation with King Charles and the Sussexes.

The Palace source in question started by highlighting the side effects of such a move and explained, “Stripping their title is not something the king would likely ever consider … mostly because it would be too petty and punitive.”

Not to mention, “It would only lead to the Sussexes claiming that it was a retaliatory action and proof they were never wanted in the royal family.”

The last claim is in reference to Meghan Markle’s own admissions about being ‘fed to the wolves’ while everyone ‘happily’ lied to protect Prince William.

This insight comes just a day after Piers Morgan took to his personal Twitter account and hit back against the couple.

King Charles III is  is reportedly ‘ready’ to strip his son Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle’s royal titles if their upcoming Netflix show proves damaging to the royal family, a royal expert has claimed.

Prince Harry and Meghan stepped away from their senior royal roles in 2020, subsequently moving to the US and sitting down for many explosive interviews to air out their grievances with the royals, and royal expert Tom Bower says that the new monarch may not tolerate more.

As per Mirror UK, Bower shared that if Harry and Meghan’s upcoming projects, including Harry’s memoir and the couple’s Netflix docuseries, attack the royal family, Charles might not just take away their titles but also keep their children Archie and Lilibet’s titles, unlike his mother Queen Elizabeth.

Bower said “He (King Charles) has made various threats to Meghan and Harry and warned that them if they go ahead, they will find themselves ostracised in a way they cannot believe. And so, they are worried.”

He added, “First of all, I do not think their children will get titles if they go ahead and slander the Royal Family. But they have also got to consider their own titles, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, could be taken away by Charles if they misbehave.”

“That is something Meghan and Harry are very worried about because after all although she pours dirt on the royal family the whole time, whenever she introduces herself, she says: ‘I am Meghan, Duchess Of Sussex,’” Bower also highlighted. 

However, amidst speculations a royal expert says, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's title removal is  'not something King Charles could do'.  According to the senior royal expert. King Charles is "more or less" powerless to strip Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of their titles, 

There is mounting speculation that King Charles III could strip his own son Prince Harry of his royal title. This comes as Harry and Meghan reportedly worry that Charles could remove their titles following the potentially explosive fallout from Harry's forthcoming memoir, Spare. However, the Express's Royal Correspondent Richard Palmer revealed that Charles is in fact powerless to

strip the Duke and Duchess of Sussex of their titles. 

Speaking to The Royal Round Up host Pandora Forsyth, Mr Palmer said that there is no legislation in place that would give Charles the power to strip his son and his wife of their titles.

He said that such a move would be "astonishing" and require new laws passed by Parliament.

Mr Palmer said: "I would be astonished if they were stripped of their titles.

"I think things would have had to get to an awful stage for that to happen."

Palmer said that there is no law in place that would give Charles the power to strip titles 

He pointed out that even after Edward VIII abdicated and reportedly

collaborated with the Nazis, he kept his title as the Duke of Windsor.

The Express's Royal Correspondent said: "If Edward and Wallis Simpson weren't stripped of their titles, it's hard to think that could happen with Harry and Meghan.

"It's actually really difficult, and in fact more or less impossible, to strip somebody of a dukedom at the moment.

"There might be legislation to change that, that would be Parliament's job, but there isn't legislation at the moment that would allow that.

"It is not something the King could do with a stroke of a pen."
