Darwin Johnson and the car his mother crashed in.

Wrestler and actor Dwayne Johnson’s mother Ata Johnson survived a serious car accident last evening in Los Angeles. He shared the news some time back on his official Instagram page. He shared a picture of her red car badly broken after being taken a hit. Ata Johnson is recovering currently.

 Dwayne shared an emotional caption to the post, which read, “Thank you God. She’s ok. Angels of mercy watched over my mom as she was in a car crash late last night. She’ll survive and continue to get evaluated.”

 The actor also shared what all his 74-year-old mother has survived in her life. “This woman has survived lung cancer, tough marriage, head on collision with a drunk driver and attempted suicide. She’s a survivor, in ways that make angels and miracles real,” he added.

He also thanked the police force for their timely help. “Thank you LAPD & LAFD for being so caring & focused. Thanks for staying on phone and talking me thru it all,” he added.

 Dwayne also shared a sentimental message for his fans and followers. “I got one parent left, so if you still got your mom and dad make sure you hug ‘em hard, cos you never know when you’ll get that 3am call we never want to get,” he said.

 On the work front, Dwayne was last seen in the supernatural saga Black Adam last year. He is known in India for his long-standing Fast & Furious franchise.
