Tinubu is not a chatter box. He speaks when it is incumbent on him to speak. He has been facing cameras all his life. He is not afraid of news rooms or media houses. This is not the first major election he has faced that demands he speaks on his plans for the particular office he is gunning for. 

From one stage to another, he has relied on his records to speak for him and this time will not be different. He has since upgraded his credentials to the point that he is now the super contestant that nobody amongst those running with him for the presidency of this country can hold a candle to. 

Credibility does not come from mouthing meaningless statistics that are not in tune with the realities of the Nigerian situation, neither is it in jumping from one media house to the other in order to be seen as talking to the people. The people are not deaf, neither are they blind to know who is genuinely preparing for next year's election. Equally, when campaign starts, Tinubu will take his campaign to all and sundry to convince them he is the best among his opponents, not at the prompting of some sour grapes who only want to cloak their bitterness under the deception of objective criticism. 

Elections worldwide are run with a retinue of publicists, image makers, content writers, spokespeople, advertisers etc. Each component is very important to the success of the candidate and his campaign and whoever wants Asiwaju to do all the work himself to be seen to be hardworking should keep their one vote because he won't. They are also free to keep stewing. Ko kan iru awa yi.
