I created Zoey 101 back in 2005. Such a great experience. For our 4th season, I hired Austin Butler to join the cast – playing a new, major role. Lucky us. 

As an actor, Austin was not only fantastic, but professional beyond his years. As a co-worker, he was kind, fun, and always friendly to everyone. 

I also remember his mom who was equally kind, sweet, and classy.

Some of you know I was born & raised in Memphis, Tennessee. So, I grew up surrounded by the influence of Elvis Presley. To this day, I still think he's the greatest entertainer of the 20th Century. Certainly, he’s the most naturally charismatic.

I've seen the new film, “Elvis.” The way Austin Butler captures Elvis is absolute brilliance. The movie is amazing, and Austin's performance – his portrayal of Elvis Presley – is something you just have to see.

Everything about Austin Butler always made me smile. It's so nice to see him succeed at this elite level. Bravo, Austin. 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼
