 THE PRESIDENT OF INITIATIVE AGAINST DYSFUNCTION IN FAMILIES, LINDA ZANNAFFE OMOLUABI, CALLS ON THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT TO BRING THE KILLERS OF DEBORAH TO BOOK.

Indeed not only families can be dysfunctional, societies/countries can also be dysfunctional where abusive leadership is entrenched that allows religious abuse go unpunished for years, a form of tacit support for these folks who have lost their humanity.

I mourn this young promising soul,  Deborah, whose life was brutally cut short by religious fundamentalists in Sokoto, a northern Nigerian state.

I call on the Nigerian government to take the necessary action to bring Deborah's murderers to book.

Let it be known to them that the Nigerian people who are broken by the sad event are watching!
