I seem to read about chronological arrogance with selective memories and hypocrisy from people. 

I am  noticing unsurprisingly, sanctimonious outpourings in support of the loud mouthed comedian Chris Rock and condemnations or attempted explanations for Will Smith's behaviour at Chris Rock's bullying tactics towards Will's sick wife, carried out infront of millions of people, under the guise of comedy. These condemnations are rather misguided from a people and country whose very history is based on violence and founded on generations of blood thirsty humans, and the wanton lynching of young men for sport, not forgetting the recent shootings of children in schools. This generation can suddenly think that a slap on the face of the oppressor, who was publicly (and not for the first time), using verbal abuse against a family member with bad health, is a crime. Our holier than thou hypocritical words have forgotten the recent shootings of young children in schools, the war in Ukraine. 

I would like to know how many of you, would hand on heart, tell me that you would stand there laughing next to a sick family member, while they are being verbally abused and bullied for the amusement of millions of unfeeling humanoids. If you are one of those who would stand there and laugh, then I thank God that you have nothing to do with my family. 

If I were sick, and some loudmouth schmuck decided to verbally bully me in public, I would like to think my husband, no matter what the rest of the PC and depressed world may think, would walk up and punch him in the face. If he doesn't I would do it myself. 

Oh wait, maybe for the sensitivity of the PC mentality,  Smith should have secretly arranged for someone to beat the hell out of Chris Rock, so that all the PC people can sit in front of their TV and be entertained by the news of the beating.

For crying out loud, Putin is the one being violent against the people and children in Ukraine and you are all crying out against a slap in defence of one's sick wife, who was  being publicly bullied in the name of entertainment. 

We are such hypocrits.
