THE BAD CONSEQUENCES OF OUR ATTRACTION TO STRONG MEN AS LEADERS
Our attraction to strong men instead of strong institutions is why some people believe that it has to be Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu or the likes of Atiku Abubakar. Strong men have continued to fail Nigeria because strong men always want to circumvent due process and get their ways through ignoring the laws or trying to manipulate it and they love yes men and praise singers.
If the likes of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar are strongmen. I think Nigeria needs a man who would focus on building institutions.
It is our attraction to a strong man that brought in Muhammadu Buhari. It has been 7 years of complete failures in virtually all its ramifications. I think we need men like Osinbajo, a lawyer who would ensure the laws of the land are followed. We need someone like Professor Babagana Zulum of Borno State and VP Osinbajo fits the profile perfectly.
Don't go about listening to those who sold Buhari to you. They duped the nation. Some of you are saying he has been with the president throughout and hasn't complained about the administration. Isn't it dumbed? There isn't much he can do. The vice president doesn't have much or any serious power to do much or anything..
