 MY ENCOUNTER WITH A BABALAWO WHOSE JUJU DOLL SPOKE FOR REAL

About 12 years ago in 2010, I had a very surreal encounter with a babalawo who was my friend's dad in Ogun state. He had a juju doll that talks. I mean the juju doll speaks English and Yoruba and talks in real time. You can have a conversation with the doll. The doll talks with a funny and scary voice. He called the doll Osanyin ( a talking effigy that relates the messages of the spirits and gods to him). 

The Osanyin doll told me so many things about myself, it told me my name, where I came from, my age, what I was presently doing at that time(I was doing my masters degree in Germany then), the Osanyin even told me my mother's name and my daughters name. It told me many things about myself and also told me some few things about the future, the Osanyin doll told me that I have a very good star that will bring favor, fame and good fortune to me and also bring me success, I will become famous and my name will be known all over in the future bla bla bla. . 

As a baby atheist then, I couldn't just believe what I saw. . I felt I had encountered God himself, it was a sacred experince for me. . I left for Germany shortly after,  when I got to Germany I related my sacred experince to a very close friend and confident who mocked me and called me a fool for believing that a doll could talk in real time like a human being, he told me that I was tricked,  I vehemently argued that I wasn't tricked and what I am telling him is what I saw and experienced.  I was so angry and hurt that  a close confident  like him didn't believe me and mockingly dismissed me just like that. 

Other atheist friends that I told about my experince also dismissed me. I was so angry and I stopped telling them about me experience. I then started mixing with Christians and was trying to fall back in line and continue with my Christain beliefs. Then in the summer of 2010 David Copperfield an American magician came around and I attended his magic show. In the show for the first time in my life I got to know about a thing called ventriloquism. In the Show David Copperfield and his crew did so many INCREDIBLE things. My friend's dad in Ogun state couldn't even do 10% of the incredible things they did on that stage. And David Copperfield openly told us that he uses tricks to do all the incredible things he does. He says things like " The next trick I'm about to perform,  I've never performed it anywhere in the world "

 He didn't claim that he uses any God or has supernatural ability,  he just says that he uses tricks. That everything we are seeing is just an illusion. David Copperfield and his crew did things on statge that no babalawo or Magician in Africa can ever do. 

 After the show I went home and used Google and YouTube to learn more about  ventriloquism.  After some study I then realized that my friend's dad tricked me. He is a ventriloquist and used the ability to trick me in the name of Osanyin.

 Two years later in 2012 I came to Naija and went and met my friend's dad, this time I opened up to him and told him that he is a ventriloquist and he is the voice behind the Osanyin doll. I told him that everything I told him about my self he then repeated it to me as the Osanyi using ventriloquism.  He laughed and confessed to me that he is the voice behind the Osayin doll and he truly is a ventriloquist, but he advised me that I should never try what I did with someone else, coming to his place to confront him and openly tell him that he is a ventriloquist is a dangerous and a very big mistake on my part he made me to understand, he said others could physically harm me for this stunt that I did. 

I told him my story, told him about my unbelief, told him how my friends in Germany all rejected and dismissed my narrative to them and how I discovered from an American magician the trick behind the Osayin doll. He told me that he is an agnostic himself.  He then revealed a few other tricks he uses for other things,  he has a coconut that moves intelligently. He drops the coconut after doing some incantations and the coconut will move intelligently,  it will go up to a person and come back to him.. I got to know that he has some white mouse that he rares and trains them to do that for him, he will place one of the  trained white mouse inside the coconut seal it and the trained white mouse will then do he movement for him.  

Nobody should come here and tell me that I should come to their village and see real juju oo. . .I have seen David Copperfield do things on stage that no babalawo, voodoo man or Magician in the entire Africa can ever do.
