WICKED, DESTRUCTIVE AND A DISGRACEFUL GENERATION.
They had free education, they got the best of Jobs immediately after graduation.
They flew them abroad for training, they got back to the country as better, informed and experienced people.
All on merits, not sentiments. Not tribal sentiments, not religious sentiments, nothing like political jingoism. They had it all.
Unfortunately, the one they chose to overlook eventually became the man made catastrophe of today, the "QUOTA SYSTEM".
Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, Mrs Funmilayo Ransome Kuti, Chief Festus Samuel Edah Okotie Eboh, Herbert Macaulay, Chief Anthony Enahoro, were all aware of the "QUOTA SYSTEM" but am certain they decided that it will be dealt with in due course, alas... The foundation for corruption, greed, ethnicity, tribalism and many means of suppression, oppression and systematic division was born.
In the hay days of the current destructive generation enslaving us, the Naira was a four star General, while the Pound was a three star General. They enjoyed a nation with a lot of potentials in the 70's.
Where are we today?
They have deregulated the Naira to the extent that the currency have simply become a pawn in the international market.
They have dehumanized the citizenry and defaced the integrity of Nigeria.
They simply destroyed four working Crude Oil refineries and are living large on the exportation of crude oil and importation of its refined products.
They have mortgaged our future and that of our unborn children.
They got the best from Nigeria but they are the worst generation. Transmitters of corruption, greed, division, destruction, thuggery, banditry, kidnappings etc.
Congratulations to them for taking Nigerians through the path of mental recession and the country to it's current embarrassing status.
What a waste... Sincerely, we are yet to be independent as a people and a nation.
We were just transited from the White hands to the Black feet.
God safe Nigeria...
