That is the familiar opening theme song of Sesame Street composed by Joe Raposo with a host of many others sung and composed by famous musicians.
The show taught kids how to count, how to spell, how to give voice to their emotions, understand them, and grow to understand the emotions in others, creating a world where friends and neighbors can provide a much support as families, a world where differences are not divisive but worthy of celebration and understanding.
The show was originally conceived as a way of bringing remedial education into the homes of disadvantaged children and was designed with the most racially diverse cast of multi-ethnic characters (adults, children & muppets) who lived, worked and played together on the street in an inner city neighborhood similar to the street in which many minority children were growing up.
