OPINION: Why the church Must never go back to 1930 of Ayo Babalola
The present Cristians believe that power has departed from the church because God is not moving like the days of Babalola, orimolade, John Wesley, and many more.
The revival that the church is praying for didn't come to pass because they didn't know that they are praying for the church to go backward. In their imagination when they pray they want to see a day when power like that of 1930 will manifest in the church so, the church thinks that is when revival has come.
May such days never come back because it's going to simply send the church backward, why am I saying this? Have you not noticed what God has done for humanity through science? Don't you think God original purpose for us is to find earthly principles of how to solve problems and apply them into various areas of our society.
Miracle was never the plan of God for the church, why was Jesus teaching principles and never giving any reference to miracles though he performed them. He often warns people never to tell anyone but He told them to go and tell the world about His teachings (principles).
Church hear me, revival has come and the church didn't know, just has the Jew is still waiting for messiah you are still expecting revival, you are expecting the day, when by just lifting of finger cripples will walk, blind will see, deaf will hear. Let's say these happened, would this revival bring a good road, stable electricity? Better health care? Will this revival stop kidnapping will it give us good governance, will it give us the same currency strength as that of Britain? Will it give us technology? Will this revival allows us to give birth in a modern way?
Don't forget this; the revival that Nigerians are praying for is, a day when there will be an open crusade where millions will be getting save on the sport yet return to abject poverty, the powerless CHURCH OF 21ST CENTURY IS NOT THAT WHICH COULD NOT HEAL THE SICK BUT THE CHURCH THAT COULD NOT TRANSFORM SOCIETY WITH KINGDOM PRINCIPLES.
