HOW ADEBOYE'S BRAINWASHING SERMONS HAVE MADE MANY NIGERIANS IRRESPONSIBLE (OPINION)

I just watched a video of Pastor Adeboye preaching and telling thousands of people that he once went to Colorado USA in January during the middle of winter. He said he hates cold and strongly dislikes winter but he had to go for the meeting because it was very important.
He said he told his father (God ) that he doesn't like winter and for the few days that he was there his God immediately turned the winter to summer, people stopped wearing winter clothing and started wearing T shirts and shorts. Everywhere suddenly became hot. . Immediately he entered the plane to leave for Nigeria in the evening after his few days visit, snow began to fall heavily. He then said that there is a God that will always turn things in the favour of Christians and change things for them no matter what the situation is.
This type of religious brainwashing is why Naija is the way it is because it tells people never to be responsible. It makes the generality of Nigerians that listen to him to be unable to make that connection between cause and effect. People as a result of this religious brainwashing prefer to think that a different effect may arise from a cause we know or are familiar with because God will do it. God will make the impossible possible, but the reality we live tells a very very different story. . If God will do it, then there will be no Boko Haram and bandits ravaging the country, if God does it, Nigeria will not be the poverty capital of the world.
It tells people that they can drive recklessly and expect NOT to have an accident because God will always do it. . .
