THE RUBBISH ABOUT DIEZIANI'S DIAMOND BRA AND UNDIES! (OPINION)
It is irritating whenever I read southern Nigerians(most especially), write unverified rubbish about Deziani, the most recent being the alleged Million naira Bra & undies tale. Utter Bollocks! Outright Gobbledygook! Absolute Poppycock!
Such can only be cooked in the hellish kitchen of Lai Mohammed. It's just a shame that those that we expect to be reasonable enough, swallow every crap thrown in their direction.
Deziani's was the first Nigerian woman to become a director in Shell BP. She's from a prominent Ijaw family. She has been married to a two term former military governor; so was a two time first lady. Her husband later became the chief of Naval Staff. At this point in her background, she was already "over made"! And could afford any gold g-string pant or platinum and diamond encrusted DDcup brazier of her choice. Becoming a transport minister under Yaradua and Petroleum minister under GEJ were just extra feathers to her cap. Deziani's crime was that she dared to take charge of the Petroleum ministry and affiliated agencies and Parastatals in her typical ironlady style and flooded it with her Ijaw and southsouth kin.
These agencies and their parent ministry used to be the exclusive preserve of the ones who claim they own Nigeria. But she clipped their wings and ran the show for the five years she was in charge. To them, this was an unforgivable sin deserving of perpetual punishment.
That's why they collaborate with the Lagos-Ibadan press every now and then to bring you these useless propaganda bits.
Keep gulping! By all means!
